ABOUT ME
My name is Madeline Trait, and I am the creator behind Gilliflower which emerged from my love of creating and hosting parties. I started doing flowers in 2007 when my friend asked me to create the flowers for her wedding. Since then I have done several more events for family and friends.
STYLE
Having had much experience in the creative field, I am always keeping up with the trends and innovations. Equipped with this knowledge I will be able to create something that matches who you are.
BEING GREEN
Aside from a green thumb, I am dedicated to the environment in making Gilliflower a green company. Currently I compost, recycle, and try to conserve water where I can. I am working on sourcing organic and local growers to use whenever I can, even if it may not be specifically requested by the client.
BACKGROUND
I have a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I've worked in architecture, interior design, and jewelry design. Now, I get to apply all my creative knowledge of color, texture, and composition to flowers and events, my true passion.
