The couple was on a tight budget and their focus for flowers was to use seasonal blooms in colors of orange, yellow and red. To stay within our budget, I used expensive blooms sparingly and supplemented with plants from my garden. I also worked closely with the bride and her planner to coordinate all the flowers with all the decorative elements to create a uniform design.

As a way to reduce costs, I created a flower workshop. Tracy and Patrick's family and friends gathered the day before the wedding where we got to know each other better, enjoyed yummy refreshments, and assembled all of the flower decorations for the event. The end result was not only beautiful flower decor, but a fun experience that contributed to the festivities.

The wedding was a very casual event held at the groom's parents' house in El Cerrito. The couple had a very limited budget, but we were able to make some beautiful arrangements using seasonal flowers and plants from the parent's garden. A personal touch of lavender was added in the bride's bouquet as it is her favorite flower and scent.

The bride and groom were inspired by the apple orchard at Dawn Ranch, so we came up with the idea of using rusty buckets with apples as a way to tie the table decorations with the location. The personal flowers reflected the color of green apples that were growing on the trees.

Elaine and I worked closely on the colors and the style of flowers for her wedding. I decided the best way to get the color we wanted was to go directly to a Dahlia farm where I was able to hand pick every flower and get exactly what we wanted.

The couple was having a causal farm wedding and wanted the flowers to be blue and festive. Hydrangeas were a perfect choice for their bright hue and casual look. The bride's bouquet was a mixture of garden roses, eucalyptus, blue tweedia and lisianthus that were loosly pulled together to emphasize the style and setting of the wedding.
